Join me for my first annual Exhale Retreat and Dance Party.
Friday, September 27th, 2019 from 5pm – 11pm at the beautiful Noah’s Event Venue in Chandler, Arizona.
What is Exhale?
Exhale is a retreat for women of all faiths 18 and up to come together, learn from each other, give back to local charities and have a kick butt dance party.
There will be awesome speakers and classes that will help you learn to own and share your story, create an intentional life of gratitude and mindfulness and share kindness in the world. There will also be yummy treats, a “Create Your Own Soda Bar”, and a ladies only DANCE PARTY!
Take a look at our amazing speakers and teachers:
Jamie Hutchings is a motivational speaker and writer at Surviving the Bubble. She is a survivor of a rare form of Leukemia that she was diagnosed with in her childhood. During her treatment she lived under quarantine in a “bubble room”. Jamie speaks to youth and women groups about trauma, PTSD, and depression. Jamie wants to help others know that they are not alone in their struggles and that they can find hope and help and live a life full of intention and happiness.
Chris and Brittany Kurtz are two amazing humans! They are the creators behind the worldwide movement, Do Good. Be Kind. Their mission is simple…..change the world! Chris and Brittany travel across the country doing assemblies for elementary and high school students. They even have their own froggy mascot. “Do Good. Be Kind. is what the world needs right now, more than ever. This is an invitation applicable to all ages and walks of life. It is visual, impactful, outward, and personal. Our purpose is simple, we exist to make a difference. Are you ready to join us?”
Becky Proudfit is the co-host of the Cultivate A Good Life podcast with Becky Higgins, and a motivational speaker. Becky has had many roles in her life, including (but never limited to) wife, mother of 4, Cancer survivor, and real life Disney princess at the Florida parks. She is a huge positive force and loves to talk to women about faith, love, and showing up for your life. “When I am approaching life openly, it serves me better. It serves my family better. It helps me show up in my life in a way that brings me joy.”
Heather Herbert is the creator of The Sweet-Me Project. She is passionate about helping women to live and love in celebration. Heather lives in Utah with her husband of over 20 years and her 3 teenagers. She is also the mama of one angel baby, Aria Dawson, who was stillborn. That experience is what inspired Heather to create and sell products to encourage living a life of gratitude. “My passion is helping others to live in gratitude, and to celebrate life, each other, and YOURSELF! I’ve learned that life is truly what you make it. No matter what is thrown at you, you can live a beautiful life.”
Wendy Howe is a life coach and social media marketer at Becky Higgins, LLC. She is a wife of 30 years, mom of 5, and “Mimi” of 4 beautiful babes. Wendy has been in PR and social media for 9 years. She has worked with women and teenagers throughout her adult life. She is a cheerleader of people! “I’m not a coach, I’m a cheerleader! Cheering you on as you discover that YOU can do it, whatever comes your way. We all have unique gifts that allow us to lift others. Mine is overcoming anxiety and finding joy.”
Since September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, I am happy to have Lighthouse for Hope coming to the retreat as the beneficiary of the raffle drawing. Everyone will receive ONE raffle ticket when you arrive. If you wish to purchase more, they will be available for purchase for CASH ONLY. There will be 10 amazing baskets you can win with the drawing.
ALL the proceeds from the raffle drawing will go to Lighthouse For Hope, a local Arizona nonprofit organization that gives help to families that have children with Cancer. Hannah Cobb, the owner of the organization is a Leukemia survivor herself and quit college to create something to help families that are in financial stress with their medical bills and items needed at home.
Hannah will have a table set up where you can purchase some of her products and donate to her cause. Please go visit her website and learn more about this amazing organization today!
I am also happy that we will be helping out Anna’s Baskets this year. I wanted to have an active service project at the retreat and this is a great one!
When you arrive to the event with your ticket, I ask that you provide ONE item* (or more if you wish) for Anna’s Baksets.
Anna Ortega was a beautiful 10 year old girl, from Queen Creek, Arizona, who fought courageously, but ultimately lost her battle with DIPG in 2017. Anna’s wish was that her family would create baskets to take to all the Cancer kids at Phoenix Children’s Hospital every Christmas. Every item that goes into the basket meant something special to Anna and comes with a note explaining why they chose to include it. This is such a beautiful way to honor the life of a selfless, loving little girl that just wanted to do something nice to help other kids in similar situations.
Anna’s family creates 46 baskets every year to donate to the Pediatric Cancer ward at Phoenix Children’s Hospital for each of the kids.
Please select an item(s) from the following list*:
Fleece Blanket Stuffed Animal White Christmas Lights Journals/Notebooks/Pens Beanies/Hats
*You will be asked to provide this item(s) when you arrive and check in. We want to fill up as many of the 46 baskets as we can with these items.
